The ribeye is known to many as the king of steaks, so some might say this is the king’s crown jewels. Recently, however, there have been some derivatives that have gained popularity. For the perfect medium-rare ribeye cap steak, grill for 7-8 minutes for a 1-inch steak, and 9-11 minutes for a 1½ inch steak, turning about 1 minute before the halfway point.
